How does it work?
To become an egg donor the process is approximately as follows:

Fill out a pre-requisite questionnaire and get approved.

Once approved you'll create a more in depth application to complete your profile.

Get matched with an intended parent(s) who choose your profile and want to move forward.

Complete psychological screening as well as medical screening through IVF clinic the intended parent(s) have chosen.

Complete legal contracts between yourself as the donor and the intended parent(s).

Complete your appointment and donor cycle completing your retrieval.

You completed your donor cycle!
Am I responsible for medical costs?
No, the intended parent(s) are responsible for all medical costs from the screening to the retrieval. You will not be required to pay out of pocket for any costs associated with the donation.
What are the requirements to become an egg donor?
To become an egg donor we have worked closely with physicians to create requirements to ensure our donors are as qualified as possible!

Between the ages of 19 and 30 years old

Have a BMI between 19 and 25 (being overweight or underweight can affect egg quality)
-
Be in overall good health, physically and emotionally
-
Not be a smoker and have not smoked in at least 12 months.

Have regular menstrual cycles
-
If traveling, cannot have been in areas with known Zika virus risk for a minimum of 6 months prior.

Be willing to undergo a medical and psychological evaluation

Be willing to take medications of all different type including injectable medication

Not currently on Depo-Provera, Norplant, Nexplanon, or any brand of a hormonal IUD
-
Be free from sexually transmitted diseases within the last year
-
Have no history of drug use

Be available for approximately 5 -10 appointments (traveling may be required)

No recent body piercings or tattoos
-
Be willing to be exclusively listed as an egg donor with Wishful Miracles for a minimum of 3 months.
